Finding the Root Cause
a little bit about Dr. Beck

Why Choose Dr. Beck?
She knows her patients are worth it. deserve more. can move mountains.
Dr. Beck Forsland (West) began a long search for answers after two pivotal experiences shaped her early life: a traumatic boating accident in her teens that left her with chronic low back pain, and severe acne in her late teens that deeply impacted her self-esteem. Conventional medicine offered diagnoses and prescriptions, but failed to address the root causes—or bring lasting relief. Unfulfilled by that approach, she turned to holistic healing and spent years immersing herself in Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation, Therapeutic Exercise, Nutritional Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, and Reiki. Through this integrative path, Dr. Beck not only found healing but now lives free from the conditions that once defined her story.
Dr. Beck began her formal medical training at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She later returned to complete a Master’s in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition, deepening her understanding of the body’s interconnected systems. Since then, she has worked with a wide range of patients—some seeking relief from pain, illness, autoimmune conditions, or injury in the most minimally invasive way possible, while others aimed to reach peak performance and maintain lifelong vitality.
Through it all, Dr. Beck has remained grounded in the fundamentals of true, lasting health: therapeutic movement, manual therapy and adjustments, hormone balance, individualized nutrition, restorative sleep, and nurturing relationships. Her approach focuses on reducing stress and toxic burden to create the conditions for the body to truly heal.
Today, Dr. Beck primarily supports women in the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum stages, as well as children—offering integrative, compassionate care that honors the body’s natural wisdom.
In her free time, Dr. Beck enjoys adventuring and living lightly on the earth with her husband and sons.
